Pool bust

These photos were from earlier this summer but I recently was just able to get my film developed. During our little drought earlier this year when we were blessed with weeks on end of great hot weather to ride bikes I had an opportunity to check out an old spot. It was the South side pool by my moms house. I scoped it out one night by myself on a solo session and realized that the hot weather had brought down the water level about 3 ft in the deep end of the pool and there was only about 3 feet left to be drained! I went back within a few days with Mac and we began to drain the pool. Unfortunately the place had been vandalized before we got there and also the neighbors ended up calling the cops on us and made for a premature end to the day and we never were able to ride the pool again. Luckily I left with new memories and some photos.... Enjoy!

Boerman

Boerman gapping, past the snow, from the walkway to an icy parking lot. Photo by me, RV.

January Webby

A quick vid of an evening I spent hanging out with Pat & Matt at the shop, in Holland (Michigan, for you non-Michiganders [lucky bastards]), after hours.

The winter will probably consist of lots of this. Then, once winter breaks, we'll actually start filming for something full length this year (if you know what I mean).

Random Shots

This is almost un-bmx related. Almost.

I just like these pictures, for one reason or another.

As Seen on TV

Obviously, if you know me personally (or keep up with anything Run Jelly Pandas-related), you've most likely seen these already. Anyway, just a couple more shots from last Sunday to help get you through the middle of the week.

Of course!

Because winters in a bike shop really are that slow.

I think a double foot-jam is in order.

(Almost) a completely new bike.

So, after quite a bit of dilly dallying, I finally ordered a new frame (not the T1, though--which I am still planning on getting, as the long-term plan is to have two bikes built up). It's pretty damn beautiful. The only thing lacking, at this point, is my new bars, which should be here tomorrow.

Also today, while I was waiting for my frame to arrive, I got a new seat made up.

Anyway, here you go...
