Random March

Somehow, even though I've spent most of my life in Michigan, I had never shot a gun until I was 28 years old.
Even though I was offered women, drugs, and the chance to shoot guns last time I was in Manila. (I'm not sure where you'd actually go for something like that in a city so densely populated. I can only imagine what it would be like to get stoned and shoot hookers.)*

Zeeland, MI

 I shot this at f5.6, 125iso, and 6 seconds.
I'll usually try a couple different settings to see what I like best. After the jump, there's another shot, cropped slightly differently, and shot at 8 seconds rather than 6. There's also one other shot from a different spot, shot at 5.6, 200iso, and 8 seconds.

Random Shots

This is almost un-bmx related. Almost.

I just like these pictures, for one reason or another.

As Seen on TV

Obviously, if you know me personally (or keep up with anything Run Jelly Pandas-related), you've most likely seen these already. Anyway, just a couple more shots from last Sunday to help get you through the middle of the week.

Black and White

I found an old roll of 400 speed black and white Kodak negative film, and thought I'd do something a little different than my usual color shots.

Winters of past

I was just reflecting on a previous winter when Justin and I traveled a little west of Chicago. We traveled to Starved Rock State Park. When we arrived we were blown away by some of the massive frozen waterfalls that graced the side of the valley walls. We parked the car abruptly at the entrance to begin shooting photos. Our adventure had begun.
